Dave Alter

Mr. Alter is a Managing Director of Peak Rock. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process and focuses on private equity transactions in companies across a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. Mr. Alter also serves on the Board of Directors of numerous portfolio companies, working with their executive teams to enhance growth and drive value-creation initiatives. Mr. Alter has approximately 20 years of private equity and M&A experience, including previously serving as a Founder and Partner of AV Capital and a Principal at Austin Ventures. Mr. Alter began his career as an investment banking analyst at Greenhill & Co. and UBS.Mr. Alter received a master’s degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin.
