Matthew Krueger

Matthew Krueger has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Matthew has worked as a Director of Machine Learning and AI at Peak Ventures since 2024. Prior to that, they served as a Machine Learning Mentor, providing guidance and coaching to early and mid-career professionals in the field. From 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at System1, leading a team focused on building production machine learning models for various applications. Before that, Matthew worked at Best Buy in different roles, including Associate Director of Machine Learning and Staff Machine Learning Scientist. Matthew also has experience as a Freelance Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist, where they developed predictive models and provided insights using Python, SQL, and Jupyter Notebooks. Additionally, Matthew has experience as a full-stack web developer and previously worked as a Managing Attorney at NewEdge Law, LLC.

Matthew Krueger holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they completed coursework in Computer Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In addition to their academic qualifications, Matthew has also obtained certifications in leadership training from System1 and Google Cloud infrastructure from Coursera.
