Dan Fitzgerald

Dan FitzGerald is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in equities and derivatives, currently serving as a Sr. Research Analyst at PEAK6 since November 2023. Previous roles include Analyst/Portfolio Manager at Nomura, where management of a fundamental prop book focused on options and equities in sectors such as energy and SPACs was undertaken from December 2016 to August 2023. At Green Owl Capital Management, Dan held the position of Energy Analyst from October 2012 to September 2016, leading investments in the energy sector. Earlier in career, involvement as an Energy Equity/Credit Analyst at Highbridge Capital Management saw investment across the capital structure in energy, while a Quantitative Analyst role at Och-Ziff Capital Management involved equity factor modeling. Dan also contributed to building a satellite as a Rocket Scientist for the Cornell University CUSat Project from May 2006 to January 2007. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University.
