Sara Meza is currently the eCommerce manager at PeakActivity. Prior to this, they spent six years at Stein Mart as the Vice President of Digital Commerce. During their time at Stein Mart, Sara was responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive five-year plan that included new digital strategies to boost the omni-channel buying journey. Sara also P&L responsibility with oversight for strategy and operational responsibility to evolve retail digital strategy, product management and fulfillment, online merchandising, web development, CRM, digital and email marketing.

Under Sara's leadership, the team at Stein Mart was able to propel direct to consumer (DTC) digital revenues from $1MM to $100MM within 5 years. This resulted in Stein Mart being named the "Fastest Growing Site" by Internet Retailer in both 2015 and 2016.

Sara is an expert in omnichannel operations and has been instrumental in implementing Ship from Store, Vendor Drop Ship, Endless Aisle, Mobile Point of Sale (MPOS), Distributed Order Management, Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) & Curbside Pickup (BOPAC) at 280 stores enterprise-wide. Sara is also adept at leading teams and has a keen eye for data-driven analysis. This was evident in their ability to identify $21MM in savings via renegotiated contractual omni-channel vendor terms which positively impacted expediting order management, improved customer service, faster fulfillment, enhanced photography and reduced transportation expenses.

In addition to their operational expertise, Sara is also well-versed in replatforming and launching responsive design Omni Channel replacement platforms. Sara has a deep understanding of the user experience (UX) and is always looking for ways to improve the customer experience (CX). Some of the initiatives they have launched in this area include outbound and inbound optimization, added online payment options and drop-ship programs.

Sara's SEO web insight and analytical expertise has helped improve KPIs across the board. Sara was even awarded the KIBO "Consumer Friendly Award for Mobile First Design and Site Usability" at the 2017 Summit.

Sara Meza has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Sara is certified in Social Media Marketing: Strategy and Optimization, Becoming an AI-First Product Leader, Magento Community Edition 2 Essential Training, Selling and Marketing Your Products on Amazon, BigCommerce Essential Training, Leading Virtual Meetings, Leading at a Distance, Shopify Essential Training, The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, SMS Strategy Certified, and 2019 Retail Education Certificate.
