Heath Mathews

Heath Mathews has had a long and varied career in the music industry. In 2018, they began their current role as Senior Vice President, Content and Licensing at Peaksware Holdings, LLC. From 2007-2018, they worked at MakeMusic, Inc. in various roles, including Vice President, Repertoire and Licensing, SmartMusic Product Manager, Manager, Music Development & Licensing, and Music Production Engineer. From 2007-2014, they served as an Adjunct Instructor of Music at Troy University and Riverland Community College. From 2002-2007, they were a Graduate Instructor at the University of Minnesota.

Heath Mathews received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music from the University of Minnesota in 2000. Heath then pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Music Composition from the same university and graduated in 2003. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Music Composition from the University of Minnesota in 2007.
