Patrick McDougal has over 15 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Since 2021, they have been serving as the VP of Field Services at Pearce Renewables. Prior to this, from 2018 to 2021, they worked at Tesla as a Commercial O&M Manager in Renewable Energy Operations, where they led teams and implemented various procedures to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency. From 2011 to 2018, Patrick held multiple positions at SpeedConnect Wireless Internet, Television, and Telephone, including Director of Operations, Technical Operations Manager, Field Service Technician, and Tower Climber. During their time there, they implemented a company dashboard to track customer issues and designed RF designs for nationwide cellular networks. Patrick's earlier experience includes serving in the US Army from 2006 to 2011, where they held positions such as Squad Leader and Shop NCOIC and mentored and promoted several soldiers.
Patrick McDougal earned an Associate's Degree in Accounting from American Military University in 2009-2011. Patrick then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Technical Management from the same university, graduating summa cum laude in 2017-2018. In the same period, they earned certificates in Technical Management and Project Management from American Military University. McDougal continued their education at American Military University, completing a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Global Management from 2019-2023. Patrick also obtained a Black Belt Certification in Lean & Six Sigma from The Lean Six Sigma Company in 2021. Additionally, McDougal holds multiple certifications in various fields, including cloud computing, coaching skills, critical thinking, data science, leadership, project management, and more. Patrick obtained these certifications from institutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), LinkedIn, Click Safety Online, and Solar Energy International (SEI). McDougal also received an Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) certification from Herc Rentals in August 2019.
