Lead - OSP QC Field Engineer at Pearce Services

Paul Kingrey has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Paul started their career at Burns & McDonnell as a Drafting/CAD Technician, where they used AutoCAD and Microstation software to create and modify drawings for structural steel and concrete foundations. Paul then joined the City of Des Moines as a Seasonal Construction Inspector, where they monitored construction sites and ensured compliance with site plans and code ordinances.

Paul later worked at CenturyLink, starting as a Sales Associate and then progressing to the role of Engineer II, where they planned and engineered new fiber builds for customers. Paul also served as an Outside Sales Representative, managing communication with new and existing customers and handling various orders and inquiries.

After CenturyLink, Paul joined The Foth Companies as a Civil Designer, specializing in civil design projects. Paul then moved to Pearce Services, where they took on several roles, including OSP Facility Engineer, Project Manager, and currently OSP QC Field Engineer.

Throughout their career, Paul has demonstrated their proficiency in engineering, project management, sales, drafting, and inspection. Paul has a strong attention to detail and is adept at utilizing computer-aided design software.

Paul Kingrey attended Marshalltown Community College and obtained a degree in Mechanical Design & CAD Technology, specializing in CAD/CADD Drafting and/or Design Technology/Technician. Paul also achieved another degree in Mechanical Design & Virtual Reality from the same institution. Prior to attending college, Paul completed their high school education at Norwalk High School, where they received a diploma in 2003.
