Patrick Ochs

Patrick Ochs has extensive experience in athletics and communications, currently serving as the Director of Athletics at Pearl River Community College since July 2018, while also having held titles in marketing and communications within the same institution. Previous experience includes roles as a reporter for the Sun Herald, focusing on government, education, and military affairs, and freelance writing. Ochs has also contributed as Assistant Sports Editor at the Oxford Eagle Newspaper, showcasing a versatile journalism background that includes content creation across various platforms. Ochs began the career in sports writing at the Natchez Democrat Newspaper and The Daily Mississippian. Holding a degree in Marketing Communications, Journalism, Marketing, and Business from the University of Mississippi, Ochs combines academic knowledge with practical experience in media and athletics.
