James Seckington began their work experience in 2017 as a Lead Operations/Technical Support at the Office of the Chief Information Office, United States Agriculture Department. In this role, they were responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the data center and diagnosing and resolving customer-reported incidents. James also managed the movement and installation of IT equipment.

In 2018, James moved on to become a Corporate Information Technology Manager at Renewal by Andersen. During their time there, they oversaw the company's information technology functions.

In 2019, James joined YOUNG & Associates as an Information Technology Specialist. In this role, they collaborated with stakeholders on technical strategy and goals and communicated with them to ensure transparency and smooth implementation. James also created training programs for corporate employees and vendors.

Later in 2019, James joined Unique Home Audio St. Louis as an IT/Install Manager. In this position, they were responsible for designing and installing new and existing projects. James served as a project manager for small to large-scale complex projects and ensured timely resolution of any escalations or issues.

James Seckington completed an Associate of Science degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Ozarks Technical Community College between 2006 and 2008. James then pursued further education at Lindenwood University, where they earned a Bachelor of Computer Technology degree, specializing in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, from 2015 to 2016.
