Chris Gjersvik

Chris Gjersvik possesses extensive experience in network engineering and management, spanning over four decades. Currently serving as Service Manager for Private Cloud Networking and previously as Principal Engineer at Pearson since 1990, Chris has led corporate-wide area network strategies with significant project budgets exceeding 4 million dollars. Prior roles include Principal Network Engineer for the Village of Washingtonville, where duties involved overseeing public safety and budgetary concerns, and Manager of WAN Networking at Simon & Schuster, responsible for similar network strategy implementations. Chris's earlier career includes positions at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. and First Boston Capital Group, focusing on LAN administration and technical support, respectively. Chris holds a Data Processing Certificate from Purchase College, attended an MBA program at Iona University, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Concordia College.
