Dr Richard George

Dr. Richard George is a seasoned professional in the fields of artificial intelligence and data science, currently serving as VP of AI & Data Science at Pearson since September 2021. Previously, Dr. George held the position of Chief Data Scientist at Faethm by Pearson from June 2017 to October 2022 and contributed as a Senior Deputy Council Member for the Global AI Council at the World Economic Forum from November 2018 to November 2021. Dr. George's extensive experience also includes roles in advanced analytics and corporate strategy at Woolworths Supermarkets and Woolworths Limited, as well as business transformation management at The Hackett Group. With an academic background featuring a PhD in Bioinformatics from UCL and dual MBAs, Dr. George combines deep technical knowledge with strategic business acumen.
