Gian Paolo Perrucci

Gian Paolo Perrucci is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for English Language Learning at Pearson since March 2022. Prior experience includes key roles at Nestlé from January 2016 to March 2022, where Perrucci spearheaded the global rollout of ServiceNow, transformed IT operations into a product-based model, and led initiatives in IoT and digital presence across the organization. Notable achievements in mobile application development and governance were accomplished during tenure at Nestlé and Nespresso. Previously, Perrucci contributed to R&D at Nokia and was involved in academic research and teaching at Aalborg University, culminating in a PhD in Wireless Communication from the same institution. Educational qualifications also include MSc degrees from Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale and Aalborg University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
