Salome Raiszadeh

Salome Raiszadeh is a dedicated educator and outdoor specialist with extensive experience in both teaching and therapeutic settings. Currently serving as a Resident Teacher at the Public Education & Business Coalition since July 2023, Salome also engages as a Volunteer Server with Vipassana Meditation, contributing to the well-being of student meditators. Previous roles include Rock Climbing Instructor at Movement Climbing + Fitness, Wilderness Instructor with Legacy Outdoor Adventures, and Senior Field Guide at WinGate Wilderness Therapy, where the focus was on supporting young adults through outdoor therapeutic programs. Salome has also held positions as Outreach Coordinator at Sun Farm and Literacy Volunteer Tutor, showcasing a commitment to community service and education. Salome holds a degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with a concentration in Psychology from Virginia Tech and has completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma at York High School.
