Evan Wegley

Principal Software Engineer at Peco InspX

Evan Wegley has worked in the technology industry since 2012. Evan began their career as an intern at Xilinx in 2012, where they ported reference designs for new device families and assisted with field enablement of FPGA and SoC evaluation kits. In 2013, they moved to Lattice Semiconductor as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where they were part of a small team responsible for the FPGA design software and took ownership of the signal routing engine. In 2018, Evan joined Synopsys Inc. as a Senior R&D Engineer, where they contributed to the flagship place-and-route tool and developed key engines for clock skew and latency optimization. Most recently, Evan began working at Peco InspX in 2022 as a Principal Software Engineer, where they are responsible for the software product and building up the next generation of capabilities from system to algorithm level.

Evan Wegley has a diverse educational background. Evan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2013. Evan also has three certifications: Machine Learning from Coursera in 2017, Hardware Security from Coursera in 2015, and VLSI CAD: Logic to Layout from Coursera in 2015. Evan is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering Management from Duke University, which they expect to complete in 2023.
