Diego Hidalgo Carballo

Diego Hidalgo Carballo is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and public affairs. Currently serving as Senior Associate Legal Counsel and In-House Counsel at PedidosYa since February 2022, Diego oversees the local legal department in Costa Rica, providing legal guidance to the Managing Director and departmental directors, and managing various corporate and regulatory matters. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Lawyer at Arias Law, where Diego represented GlaxoSmithKline in Central America and the Caribbean, and as In-House Counsel for the same company, focusing on contract reviews and legal advisory. Diego began his legal career as a Legal Intern at GlaxoSmithKline and was previously a Legal Assistant at Bufete Solís & Rodríguez, where responsibilities included supporting diverse clients on various legal issues. Diego holds a Licenciatura and a Bachillerato in Law from the Universidad de Costa Rica.
