Director Diversity Inclusion And Service at Peel Children's Aid

Chima Nsitem has extensive experience in the field of child welfare and mental health. They started their career at Peel Children's Aid in 2003, where they held various positions including Supervisor and Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Service. In 2016, Chima Nsitem also worked as a Consultant at SC Nsitem Clinical and Consulting Services. Additionally, they served as the Coordinator for Family Group Conference at The George Hull Centre for Children and Families. Overall, Chima Nsitem has a strong background in providing support and services to children and families in need.

Chima Nsitem has a diverse education history. In 2001 to 2003, Chima obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto. Before that, Chima completed a Bachelor's degree in Art/Art Studies, General from the same university.

In recent years, Chima has engaged in executive education programs at Harvard University's Kennedy School. Alongside formal education, Chima holds additional certifications. In June 2020, Chima was awarded the Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP™) designation by the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI). Chima also holds a certificate in Leadership and Education from Centennial College, obtained in December 2019.

Furthermore, Chima has professional certifications in the field of Social Work. They received the titles of Master Social Worker and Clinical Social Worker from the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW) in 2016. Additionally, in the same year, Chima obtained the designation of Master Social Worker and Clinical Social Worker from the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Lastly, Chima completed a program called the Family Group Conference Coordinator offered by The George Hull Centre for Children and Families. Chima also completed the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) through PGAPworks.com. However, the specific months and years of completion for these programs are not provided.
