George Sellar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. George began their career at Europa Partners in 2008, where they worked in Corporate Finance for a brief period of a few months. In 2009, they joined PwC as an Associate and later became a Senior Associate in 2011, where they worked until January 2014. At PwC, they gained experience in financial advisory and capital markets services. In February 2014, Sellar joined Burton's Biscuit Company as the Manager of Corporate Strategy, a role they held until September 2014. Since September 2014, they have been at Peel Hunt, serving as the Head of Consumer in the Investment Banking division. Peel Hunt's investment banking division provides financial advisory and capital markets services to corporate clients. Sellar has worked with over 150 corporate clients, including FTSE 250 companies.
George Sellar obtained a BA degree in History from the University of Bristol in 2009. George then pursued further education and obtained an ACA degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2012. In 2013, George obtained a certification in Intermediate Financial Modelling from BPP. George continued to enhance their skills by obtaining certifications in Financial Modeling, Comparables Analysis, Merger Consequences, and Leverage Buyout Analysis from Training The Street in 2014. George also received additional certifications, including CF30 Registered from the Financial Conduct Authority and CISI Level 3 Certificate in Securities from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in 2015.
