Paul Illingworth

Paul Illingworth has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the IT and business analysis field. Paul started their career as a Business Analyst at The Mersey Docks and Harbour Company Limited, where they were responsible for project management, requirements analysis, software development, and system testing. Paul then moved on to become a Group IT Product Manager at Peel Ports Group, where they worked closely with senior members of the business to deliver strategic projects through the use of IT. In this role, they also established business cases for projects and managed project scope and change control. Paul later took on the role of Business Relationship Manager, leading a team and establishing the BRM function within Peel Ports Group. Paul was responsible for setting up new processes, systems, and functions for the business. In their most recent role with Peel Ports Group, Paul served as the Galileo IT Lead/Enterprise Architect, leading a greenfield SAP S/4 HANA implementation and managing full port operations. Paul also served as a Trustee Director at Peel Ports Trustees Limited, where they were a member-nominated director on the trustee board of the Peel Ports Group Pension Scheme.

Paul Illingworth attended Deyes High School for an undisclosed period of time, during which they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following their time at Deyes High School, Paul Illingworth enrolled at Liverpool John Moores University from 1995 to 1998. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Applied Computer Technology.
