DJ Zevenbergen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They began their career as an Assistant Language Teacher for Junta de Andalucía in 2017. In 2019, DJ worked as a Purchaser/Customer Service representative at Costco Wholesale. Continuing their career in the technology field, DJ then joined UGrow as a Software Developer in 2020. During their time at UGrow, they automated AWS S3 using AWS Lambda, designed a JavaScript video library, built a web-scraper in Python, and architected a new product using React.js and Node.js/Express. In 2021, DJ transitioned to New Relic, Inc. as a Technical Support Engineer and later became a Senior Technical Support Engineer before leaving the company in 2023. Currently, DJ is employed as a Software Developer at PeerLyfe, starting in 2023.

DJ Zevenbergen graduated from the University of Washington in 2017 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. During their time at the university, their focus of study included Management Information Systems, Operations, and Supply Chain Management. In 2020, DJ Zevenbergen attended Epicodus and obtained a Certificate in Web and Mobile Development, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, in 2021, DJ Zevenbergen acquired two certifications: "KCS v6 Fundamentals Certification (202.1)" from The KCS Academy, the only authorized certifying body for KCS, and "KCS v6 Fundamentals Certification" from the same institution. In 2020, DJ Zevenbergen also completed a course called "PH125.1x: Data Science: R Basics" offered by HarvardX, an online learning initiative by Harvard University through edX.
