Amit Mistry

Amit Mistry has over 17 years of professional experience. In 2004, they worked as a User Support Analyst/Web Developer at Makro Self Service Wholesalers Ltd. During their time there, they were responsible for the maintenance and development of the company intranet, user administration tasks, incident and problem logging, troubleshooting Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) technical problems, and database administration tasks. In 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer (Contract) at Transition Computing. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Full Stack Software Engineer at 3tcsoftware Ltd. During this time, they were a command-and-control application developer for the ambulance and fire brigade sector, and was involved in all stages of the software lifecycle.

From 2010 to 2016, Amit worked at SmartStream Technologies. During their time there, they held multiple roles including VP - Pre-Sales & Business Development/Sales Engineer, VP - Technical Architect, VP - Senior Product Specialist, and Professional Services Senior Consultant. In this role, they were a hybrid, hands-on technical and business resource in both pre and post sales, and was responsible for advising product management and engineering on best practices.

From 2016 to 2019, Amit was Co-Founder and CTO at Somtra - International Money Transfer Comparison Service. In this role, they were involved in all aspects of the business, including finance, marketing, business development, and technology. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Senior Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) at Algolia. In this role, they partnered with Account Executives to support the sale of the modular platform, and lead product and technical discussions. From 2021 to 2022, they were a Principal Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer at Rasa. During this time, they partnered with Account Executives as a hybrid hands-on technical and business resource to support the sale across all industries, and strategized with the CRO on best practices to move multiple deals quickly and efficiently through the sales lifecycle. Currently, Amit is a Client Business Manager at PeerNova Inc., a role they have held since 2023.

Amit Mistry completed their BSc Honours Software Engineering (2:1) from DeMontfort University, Leicester in 2006. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University via Coursera.
