Ruhul Amin, PhD, is a Senior Scientist specializing in Analytical and Process Development at Pegasus Biotech Inc. since April 2022. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Alberta, where research focused on human pseudo islets, and a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Alberta, where extensive work on bacterial culture and plasmid DNA/RNA processing was conducted. Additionally, Ruhul held dual roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, earning multiple teaching awards. Earlier experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Lethbridge involved mathematical modeling of photosynthetic oscillations. Ruhul began a professional career as a Microbiologist at Doctors Chemicals Ltd., contributing to method development and process improvement. Ruhul holds a PhD in Physiology and Developmental Biology and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Alberta and the University of Lethbridge, respectively.
