Philip Allers has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality assurance and technical support. Philip started their career as a software developer at Upstate Office Equipment in 2002 and later joined Salem Five Bank as a temporary administrative assistant in 2003. In the same year, they also worked at Atari as a software quality assurance engineer. From 2004 to 2016, Philip worked at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, where they held various roles including software quality assurance lead, software quality assurance engineer, and technical support engineer. Since 2016, Philip has been working as a technical lead for software quality assurance at Pegasystems.
Philip Allers attended Hartwick College from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General. Additionally, they obtained an A+ Certification from CompTIA in June 2002. In November 2015, Philip obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester, Agile Tester certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board. Philip also achieved the ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) certification from the same institution in April 2015.
