Alyssa Dazza currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Animal Care Division for Broward County Government, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Alyssa worked as the Admissions & TNVR Manager at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League from March 2022 to May 2024. Prior experience includes the role of Veterinary Practice Manager at Hearts Alive Village Las Vegas, where processes for a non-profit animal clinic were developed, and as Feline Programs Manager at The Animal Foundation, focusing on feline lifesaving efforts. Alyssa Dazza holds a Master of Science in Shelter Medicine from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida International University.
