Curator Of Biology And Vice President Of Research And Conservation at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum

Doug Taron has a diverse work experience. Doug started their career as a Research Scientist at Vysis in 1993 before joining the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum in 1997 as the Curator of Biology and Vice President of Research and Conservation. In 2011, they became the President of Friends of Bluff Spring Fen.

Doug Taron received their B.A. in Biology from Colby College from 1975 to 1979. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology from Northwestern University, which they completed from 1979 to 1984.
