Julia Friesen

Julia Friesen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Julia started their career at PepsiCo as a Process Improvement Engineer (Co-op Placement) in 2013, where they focused on productivity and efficiency initiatives. Julia then moved on to Sheridan Nurseries Limited in 2014 as a Production Planner/Purchaser, responsible for organizing plant purchasing and developing production plans. In 2015, they joined MakeWorks as a Sales and Operations Manager, where they handled strategy initiatives and day-to-day operations. Julia then transitioned to Knixwear in 2017, where they held multiple roles including Customer Empowerment Knixpert, E-Commerce Merchandising Manager, and E-Commerce Product Manager. During their time at Knixwear, they focused on improving the customer experience and managing site merchandising. In 2020, they joined We Make Websites as a Product Owner, working with clients to enhance site functionality and improve conversion rates. Currently, Julia is a Senior Product Manager, E-commerce at Pela, where they are responsible for managing e-commerce products.

In 2017, Julia Friesen attended BrainStation and obtained a User Experience Design Certificate (Part Time).
