Ian Gilham

Ian Gilham is an accomplished executive in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees at LifeArc since October 2021. In addition, Ian holds multiple non-executive chair positions, including roles at Pelago Bioscience AB and RevoNA Bio. Ian has an extensive history in leadership, previously chairing genedrive plc and Cytox Limited, and overseeing significant milestones such as the IPO of Horizon Discovery in March 2014 and its subsequent sale to Perkin-Elmer in January 2021. Ian's academic background includes a PhD in Biological Sciences from the University of Bath and a BSc in Zoology from Bangor University.
