Hay Badra

Hay Badra has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Growth at Pelanor since August 2023. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Strategic Business Development at medcase from January 2022 to August 2023. They also held significant positions in the Israeli government, including Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs and Senior Advisor for the Social Array Strategy at the Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs. They were also the Deputy Director for Strategy, Planning and Policy at the Israeli Ministry for Social Equality. Before their government roles, they worked as a Strategic Specialist in the Strategic Division of the Israel Defense Forces and founded and served as CEO of Mahbarot Mechkar, a research institution. In addition, they were the CEO of Junior Histadrut, leading a team and successfully unionizing workers in the fast-food industry. Overall, Hay Badra has extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, government affairs, and social and labor initiatives.

Hay Badra received a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Beit Berl College from 2007 to 2011. Later, in 2017 and 2018, Hay pursued further education at Harvard University, earning a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree with a focus on Adaptive Leadership, Economic Growth, Operations Management, International Relations, and Negotiations. In addition, Hay also obtained a Certificate in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
