Alex Pokrovsky

Alex Pokrovsky is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience at Pelco since March 2000, where responsibilities include leading the development of new pan and tilt and imaging devices, conducting thermal analyses for product development, and providing technical advice for sustaining and special product teams. Prior to Pelco, Alex served as a Program Manager for Citizen’s Development Corps from September 1997 to October 1999, facilitating business development initiatives in Crimea, Ukraine. Earlier roles include working as an Engineer/Interpreter for Sevteploenergo, where responsibilities involved acting as an engineering liaison and interpreter for a World Bank project, and as a Mechanic at a Ship Repair Plant, focusing on the repair of diesel and compressor units. Alex holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sevastopol State Technical University, completed in 1995.
