Edsel Beltran has over 20 years of work experience in engineering and project management in the energy sector. Edsel began their career in 1996 as an Inside Sales Engineer at Thomas Pump and Machinery, where they were involved in the sales and design of pump systems. Edsel then joined Technical Engineering Consultants in 1996 as a Facility Engineer, responsible for the topsides design of offshore oil and gas production facilities. In 2000, Beltran moved to W. H. Linder & Associates / Jacobs Engineering as a Project Manager, where they managed and coordinated multi-discipline projects in the oil and gas industry. Since 2007, Beltran has been working at Pelican Energy Consultants, LLC, where they hold the position of Director of Business Development / Principal Engineer. In this role, they are responsible for various services such as multi-discipline engineering, project management, construction management, and procurement/inventory management. Pelican Energy Consultants is known for its expertise in designing carbon capture, processing, transportation, utilization, and sequestration facilities.
Edsel Beltran obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Orleans. Edsel attended the university from 1990 to 1995.
