Jim Hoppensteadt

Jim Hoppensteadt currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager at Pelican Landing Community Association since March 2024. Previously, Jim held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer at Pelican Bay Foundation from August 2006 to January 2024, managing the homeowner’s association for over 15,500 residents and numerous commercial entities. Jim has also contributed as Chairman of the Education Foundation of Collier County and served on the Advisory Board of the Community Advocacy Network. Additional experience includes roles in leadership and management at various country clubs and as Regional Director of Operations for ITT Sheraton. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Business from DePauw University, earned between 1977 and 1981.
