Gwen Riley is the SVP of Music & Content Partnerships at Peloton. Gwen has over 10 years of experience in music business affairs and development, music content acquisition, music production and licensing, cost management and live event/scoring sessions.

Gwen started their career at Tapulous in 2008 as the Business Affairs Manager for Music Licensing. In this role, they helped shepherd over 15 mobile games to #1 on the AppStore and developed new music monetization models and structures for mobile gaming. Gwen also created integrated content partnerships and promotional opportunities for artists on platform, introduced free channel music discovery, managed a licensed catalog of over 1000 tracks, and performed music acquisition due diligence on 800+ songs.

In 2010, Gwen joined The Walt Disney Company as the Head of Business Affairs Music for Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. In this role, they were responsible for direct cross-platform digital music business affairs and development, music content acquisition, music production and licensing, cost management and live event/scoring sessions for Disney’s products and digital platforms. This included developing digital platform licensing models, social music marketing and promotion strategies, and music event activations for managed properties.

Gwen has been with Peloton since 2019 and has been instrumental in growing the company’s music offerings. Under their leadership, Peloton has secured exclusive partnerships with major music labels and artists, expanded their catalogue to offer over 3 million songs, and launched new features like song recommendations and playlists.

Gwen Riley attended Phillips Exeter Academy for their high school education. Gwen then went on to Dartmouth College for their undergraduate degree, where they studied English. Finally, they attended Boston College Law School to earn their JD in the field of intellectual property and entertainment law.
