Tasneem Merchant

Tasneem Merchant has a wealth of experience in the Human Resources field, beginning with an internship at KPMG in 2008. Tasneem then moved on to HRS Global, where they held roles as a Recruitment Specialist and HR Coordinator from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Transworld as an HR Generalist. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Top Hat, where they held roles as a Talent Acquisition Lead and Talent Specialist. In 2018, they joined Veeva Systems as a Regional HR Business Partner and Technical Talent Partner for Engineering & Product. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Pemo as Head of People and Culture. At Pemo, they are responsible for empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan (MENAP) region by offering an all-in-one spend management platform.

Tasneem Merchant attended Karachi Grammar School and obtained A Levels in 2007. Tasneem then attended McGill University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelors in Commerce with a focus in Psychology and Marketing. In June 2019, they obtained a CHRP Candidate certification from the Human Resources Professionals Association.
