Min-Yen Kan

Min-Yen Kan serves as the Vice Dean of the Undergraduate Office at NUS Computing, leading a team to manage a diverse array of programs for over 1600 students annually. As an interdisciplinary associate professor at NUS, Kan specializes in digital library systems, natural language processing, and educational technology, having founded the WING lab. Kan holds significant positions within the Association for Computational Linguistics, including Co-Chair of the Ethics Committee and former ACL Anthology Editor. Additional roles include serving as Surveys Editor for the AI ACCESS FOUNDATION and contributing to Turnitin's AI Writing Strategic Advisory Board. Kan also holds advisory positions with Entrepreneurs First, Pencil, and Wordster, and has previously contributed to the NUS Institute for Application of Learning Science and Educational Technology. Education credentials include a Ph.D. and BS in Computer Science from Columbia University.
