Kalyani Krishnamurthy

Principal Algorithm Scientist at Pendar Technologies

Kalyani Krishnamurthy is a Principal Algorithm Scientist at Pendar Technologies, where since September 2015, development of iterative statistical reconstruction algorithms has been a key focus, enabling the recovery of spatially resolved coherent scatter form factors from coded X-ray diffraction images. Prior to this role, Kalyani served as a senior algorithm developer at Pendar Technologies and a Visiting Assistant Professor at Bowie State University. Kalyani’s academic journey includes a Postdoctoral Associate position at Duke University, where research involved the development of statistical signal processing algorithms for applications in astronomical and medical imaging. An engineering foundation was built at Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy, culminating in a PhD in Signal Processing from Duke University. Early career experience includes work as an Embedded Systems Engineer at L&T Infotech, contributing to ultrasound machine development and quality control processes.
