Joe Mattina

Joe Mattina is a finance professional with extensive experience in origination and credit management. Currently serving as Partner and Head of Origination at Penfund since August 2018, Joe specializes in providing junior capital to middle market companies across North America. Prior to this role, Joe held significant positions at notable firms including Apollo Global Management LLC as Managing Director of Credit Origination, and Macquarie Bank as Managing Director and Head of Leverage Finance & Sponsor Coverage Canada. Joe's career began at KPMG Canada, and Joe has cultivated a robust skill set in corporate finance, supported by advanced qualifications including a CPA and a Chartered Accountant designation. Joe holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University.
