Jose Rafoso Cotilla

Jose Rafoso Cotilla has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jose began their career at Fnac in 2003, where they held various positions such as Vendedor experto en fotografía, Encargado en tienda de la sección de Fotografía, and Responsable EGP (Imagen, Sonido y Fotografía). Jose then transitioned to roles including Responsable Departamento Producto Técnico and Responsable Departamentos Microinformática y Servicio Postventa at Fnac L’illa and Fnac Diagonal Mar respectively.

In 2011, Jose Rafoso Cotilla became the Coordinador Servicios Región Norte, overseeing Barcelona, Zaragoza, Bilbao, and San Sebastián locations at Fnac. In February 2021, they became the Director of Cursiva, a platform for customized training and events for authors and readers. José currently holds the position of Director Oficina del Autor at Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial, where they focus on creating innovative spaces for authors and readers to connect, managing Foreign Rights to expand book publication in different languages worldwide.

Jose Rafoso Cotilla has a diverse education history. In 2002 to 2007, they attended Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they pursued a degree in Comunicación Audiovisual and received a Licenciado qualification. From 2012 to 2014, they studied at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, focusing on Marketing, Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Digital Business from the same university. In 2022, they attended INSEAD for Executive education in Preparing for opportunities, focusing on Administración y gestión de empresas, general.
