Pradeep Karmakar is a seasoned data and cloud database engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing complex database solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Database/Data Engineer at PenguinData Workforce Management Inc. since November 2020, Pradeep specializes in creating high-performance, scalable workforce management solutions utilizing AWS tools and automation technologies. Previous roles include senior positions at Samsung Electronics, where a failover solution for PostgreSQL replication was developed, and Red Ventures, where cloud database architecture migration to AWS was facilitated. Pradeep also has a strong foundation in data warehousing and Oracle database administration, with early career experience in various roles at the Florida Department of Education and related agencies. A graduate of the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, India, with a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Pradeep has built a robust professional profile encompassing both technical and operational expertise in data management.
