Patrick Slavens, MBA, CPCU, currently serves as an Underwriter III at Penn-America Group since August 2022 and previously held the position of Underwriter II within the same company. In addition, Patrick is a Town Council Member for the Town of Lake Hamilton, representing Seat 3 since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Underwriting Specialist and Commercial Underwriter at Auto-Owners Insurance from July 2018 to August 2022, and as an Underwriting Service Assistant at State Farm from January 2015 to July 2018. Earlier career experience involved serving as a Communication Coordinator at HEINOLD-BANWART, LTD from January 2009 to January 2015. Patrick holds an MBA from Franklin University and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Risk Management and Finance along with an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Illinois Central College.
