Catherine S. possesses a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion with a focus on Gerontology and Community Health from Towson University. Currently serving as a Summer Intern at the Maryland Department of Aging since June 2022, Catherine S. is involved in policy development, program planning, analysis, and evaluation. Additionally, Catherine S. has been working as a Resident Care Assistant at Penn-Mar Human Services since January 2016, where responsibilities include preparing reports, assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), administering medications, and planning outings and appointments. Previous internship experience with Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland, Inc. in June 2022 included participation in team meetings and home assessments.

Founded in 1981, Penn-Mar serves nearly 2,000 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities each year through community living, day learning, customized employment, family and peer supports, and respite programs. Penn-Mar provides services in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
