Jennifer Hisey has extensive experience in the field of human services, currently serving as Community Supports Program Manager at Penn-Mar Human Services since March 2007. In this role, Jennifer oversees the Personal Supports program and manages a team of 14 staff members. Previous positions at Penn-Mar include Community Living Manager, MD Assistant Community Supports Coordinator, and Residential Supervisor, where Jennifer was involved in the management and coordination of programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Lutheran Social Services and provided customer support in the hospitality and retail sectors. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Colorado State University Global and has foundational education from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Mont Alto and Gettysburg High School.

Founded in 1981, Penn-Mar serves nearly 2,000 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities each year through community living, day learning, customized employment, family and peer supports, and respite programs. Penn-Mar provides services in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
