Akashdeep Singh

Akashdeep Singh is a Technical Research Assistant at Penn State University since May 2025, focusing on herbicide resistance screening, seed cleaning, biomass measurement, and data collection in greenhouse, laboratory, and field environments. Previously, Akashdeep served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University from January 2023 to May 2025, concentrating on weed biology and ecology. Prior experience includes a Student Trainee position at Punjab Agricultural University, where Akashdeep was involved in wheat breeding and DNA extraction, as well as a Student Trainee role in the Rural Agriculture Work Experience program that emphasized community engagement and agricultural technology transfer. Akashdeep holds a Master of Science in Weed Science from Auburn University (2023-2025) and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Punjab Agricultural University (2016-2022).
