Margo DelliCarpini currently serves as the Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses and Executive Chancellor at Penn State University, as well as the Chancellor of Penn State Abington since January 2021. Prior to this role, Margo DelliCarpini held the position of Vice Provost and Dean at The University of Texas at San Antonio from August 2016 to December 2020, and Dean of the College of Education at Morehead State University from January 2014 to June 2016. Margo DelliCarpini was also the Editor of the TESOL Journal from 2009 to December 2015, where significant indexing improvements occurred during the editorial tenure. Earlier academic roles include serving as Professor of TESOL and Department Chair at Lehman College and TESOL Director of Field Experience and Clinical Practice at Stony Brook University. Margo DelliCarpini earned a Ph.D. in Linguistics, as well as advanced certifications and a Master’s degree in TESOL, all from Stony Brook University, where an undergraduate degree in Linguistics was also obtained.
