Mary Frecker

Mary Frecker serves as the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Director of the Center for Biodevices at Penn State University, where a professional career has spanned from 1997 to the present. Mary Frecker holds the position of Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at the same institution. In 2019, Mary Frecker was a Visiting Faculty Member in Precision and Microsystems Engineering at Technische Universiteit Delft. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, obtained in 1997, and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, awarded in 1991.
