Lucas Evans

Vice President, Heavy Civil, Eastern Canada at Pennecon

Lucas Evans, P. Eng., PMP has a strong background in heavy civil and mining projects. Lucas currently serves as the Vice President of Heavy Civil, Eastern Canada at Pennecon, where they oversee the division's operations and reports on progress to senior leadership. Prior to this, Lucas worked at Pennecon Heavy Civil Limited as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Engineer, leading and coordinating various projects valued from $5M to $200M. Lucas also has experience as a Mine Engineer at Vale, where they handled day-to-day operations and mine planning, and as a Project Engineer at North American Construction Group, where they managed heavy civil and mining projects. Lucas is skilled in bidding, planning, logistics, execution, and project management.

Lucas Evans, P. Eng., PMP, graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2008 with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Civil Engineering. Lucas also holds the PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
