Marissa Storrs has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. In 2010, they worked as a Census Taker for the US Census Bureau. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as a Digital Marketing Manager, Account Services for Pennington Creative, where they were responsible for guiding clients through the onboarding process, developing customized campaign goals, and applying their SEO expertise. Additionally, they worked with members of the writing team to develop a fitting style for every project and create a firm understanding of keyword strategy and brand messaging throughout the team. In 2017, they began working as an AVID Tutor for North Clackamas Schools, where they lead tutorial sessions in small groups of students in 7th and 8th grade.

Marissa Storrs obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English from the University of Arizona between 2007 and 2010. Marissa has also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, the American Marketing Association, and HubSpot Academy, including Learning Conversion Rate Optimization, Optimizing Marketing Emails, SEO: Keyword Strategy, Social Media Marketing: Facebook and Twitter, AMA PCM, Digital Marketing, Email Marketing, and Content Marketing Certified.
