Bret Hadzimichalis

Bret Hadzimichalis, PE, CCM, serves as an Associate Vice President and Construction Services Practice Lead for the Mid-Atlantic region. He has over 14 years of experience in highway/bridge construction management & inspection, including scheduling, claims avoidance & mitigation, constructability reviews, value engineering, change order negotiations, and owner’s representation. Over a decade of his experience comes from his previous roles at the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA), including Transportation Design Engineer/Project Manager in the Office of Highway Development, Resident Maintenance Engineer of District 3’s Laurel Maintenance Facility, and Assistant District 2 Engineer for Construction on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

He has been involved in a broad range of projects – from minor safety improvements and routine maintenance activities to major roadway, bridge, and interchange construction with hands-on experience in highway design, construction, planning, maintenance operations, and alternative contracting. Bret is a registered Professional Engineer in MD, DE, DC, and VA, and is a Certified Construction Manager through the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).
