Joan Zbin

Joan Zbin serves as an Associate Vice President and the Ohio Transportation Practice Lead. She has a diverse background in the design and management of transportation projects with more than 28 years of professional experience including numerous projects with ODOT, LPA and local agencies. In this role, Joan oversees all projects in Ohio and provides quality assurance for all roadway design projects. She has extensive experience in all aspects of roadway design including project management, roadway, lighting, pavement, and storm sewer designs, as well as signing/pavement marking design, maintenance-of-traffic, and preparation of right-of-way plans.

Joan is a registered professional engineer in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Michigan. She earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Akron. She is a Board Member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) Cuyahoga Valley Section and on the Advisory Board for the local Project Lead the Way.
