Kurt J. Nyquist

Kurt J. Nyquist began their work experience in 1993 as a Teacher at Bellefonte Area School District. Kurt J. then moved on to Jersey Shore Area School District in 2002, where they served as an Elementary Principal until 2004. In the same year, they joined PENNS VALLEY AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT as an Elementary Principal and later took on the role of Director of Student Support Services in 2019.

Kurt J. Nyquist obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University in 1991. Kurt J. then went on to pursue a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the same university, completing it in 1998. In 2000, Kurt earned a Principal Certification from Saint Francis University. Later, they obtained a Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Penn State University in 2014.
