Sharon Guest-Tagliavento, BS, MS, serves as the Special Education Support Services Coordinator at PA Virtual Charter School since March 2016, collaborating closely with the director to enhance the Special Education Department’s activities. Prior to this role, Sharon held similar positions at Education Plus Academy Cyber Charter School and Achievement House Cyber Charter School, where responsibilities included managing confidential student files, liaising with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with state mandates for special education. Sharon's extensive background includes temporary roles in various administrative and technical positions, along with a strong foundation in educational roles, having earned an MS in Adult Education and Communication from the University of Florida and other academic credentials in education and animal science.

The Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School serves approximately 3000 students throughout Pennsylvania from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a home-based setting. In July 2019, the Pennsylvania Department of Education renewed the school’s charter for five more years.
