Tate Heilpern

Tate Heilpern, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager – Rates at PENNYMAC since September 2025. Prior to this role, Tate held the position of Senior Vice President and Trader – Macro Derivatives at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. from July 2020 to September 2025. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President and Trader – G10 Rates & FX at Payden & Rygel from March 2015 to July 2020, and as Associate in Institutional Sales – Interest Rate Derivatives Structuring at Wells Fargo Securities from June 2008 to July 2014. Tate Heilpern earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University in 2008.
